An Austin Henderson update

6-foot-3 freshman Austin Henderson, class of 2016 out of San Ramon Valley High, is on a hot streak of late for Coach Ed Helscher and San Diego Mesa College. In a February 8 victory over Imperial Valley College, he shot 6-8 from long distance in scoring 20 points. Two days later, Henderson scored 24 points by shooting 8-11 from long distance in a victory over Cuyamaca College.

Henderson was a San Francisco Chronicle Boys Basketball All-Metro Teams
Honorable Mention after his senior prep season in which he averaged 13.0 points per game.
