The Broncos looking at a Texas two

Blue Zertuche/Texas Hoops (a Rivals sub is required) writes:
Cameron Delaney
High School/Travel Team: Harker Heights/ TX D1 Ambassadors-Carlton
HT: 6-foot-3
Position: Shooting Guard

Recruitment: (O) Weber State, Santa Clara, Pepperdine, (O) Utah State, Dartmouth, Texas State, (O) Sam Houston State, (O) Denver

Notes: DeLaney has come back strong from a subpar April to be among one of the state's top shooting guards. DeLaney recently gathered himself on the court and showed his polished ball handling and mid-range jumper. The lean basketball player has great demand of his shot and has the body control that shooters need from all spots on the floor. DeLaney's up and down smooth motion on his shoot makes him a target for the next level programs. He can get the ball up the court through traffic, take defenders off the dribble to get to the rim. On defense, he can get down in a stance and guard his perimeter assignment. Playing on this Carlton (which has many weapons), DeLaney can give up the limelight to younger players, but make no mistake, if there is a big shot that needs to be taken, DeLaney has the green light.
