The timing seems strange and 2+ seasons is nowhere near the time needed to turn around a basketball program not too long ago mired in a bizarre professional death duel between coach (Jesse Evans) versus AD (Debra Gore-Mann)
but here's something in the Sacramento Bee from Victor Contreras who is wishing for Bill Cartwright to take the helm at USF:
