Learned the Diablo Valley College frontcourter Raphael Carter has completed his academic requirements and will be attending Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
He'll be playing for Coach Greg Kampe.
The Golden Grizzlies feature 6-foot-11 redshirt freshman Korab Imami and 6-foot-10 sophomore Corey Petros, an All Newcomer selection in 2011-12, and that's about it for frontcourters, so playing time especially at the four spot looks wide open.
Oakland plays in the Summit League and went 11-7 last season, 20-16 overall.
