A Lassen College basketball update

Lassen College took the crown at the Chabot College Holiday Classic in late December, an event which also had College of Alameda, Contra Costa College, College of the Sequoias, Cosumnes River College, Chabot College, DeAnza College, Las Positas College and Lassen College participating.

6-foot-2 sophomore Devin Bey was honored as the most valuable player while 6-foot-1 frosh point Sammy (Alameda High) Allen Jr. and 6-foot-8 freshman forward Charles (Grant High) Jackson were both named to the All Tournament team.

Lassen currently stands 13-6 (versus just a single win last season) and is ranked #15 in the state, #8 in Northern California with Golden Valley Conference play now beginning.
