Host Santa Clara was minus a bit of firepower and the inside defensive presence needed to take down Gonzaga as the Zags prevailed 81-74.
Didn't catch a lot of the game but why did Bronco Evan Roquemore (a junior) fire up that three-point attempt from on top with 1:30 remaining, followed by an even higher degree of difficulty trey attempt by Kevin Foster (a senior) a short time later? Both were forced shots and not dictated by shooting clock concerns.
