It was Pacific by a trey, 71-68, in a Big West Conference tournament contest last night that featured large lead swings. Former Santa Rosa Junior College backcourter Lorenzo McCloud filled the stat sheet for the victors with 12 points, six boards, four assists and a pair of steals. Junior frontcourter Tony Gill, out of Cosumnes River College, added seven points and six rebounds in 19 minutes.
It was an explosive game for freshman guard Mike (Foothill High) Bryson as he led everyone with 29 points, powered by 7-11 from long distance. Point T.J. (Oakland High) Taylor contributed 11 points plus five assists.
