The Highlander Nor Cal contingent playing well

Some UC Riverside Highlanders played well in their recent three game trip to British Columbia, particularly those from northern California:

* Taylor (Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep) Johns averaged 13.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. He also nabbed seven steals. Johns put up an 18/14 double-double in one effort.

* Charles (Cosumnes River College) Standifer went for 9.0 and 4.7 per outing while also pilfering seven steals.

* Lucas (Piner High) Deveney enjoyed the time north of the border with 5.7 and 2.7 averages and 75% shooting. His scoring high was 11 points.

* Colin (Cabrillo College) Gruber scored 3.7 a contest, shooting 63% overall.
