It's Ali time

Mel Grussing, after an Antelope Valley College win over San Bernardino, is starting up the Ismail Ali Fan Club:

Finally, there is the best JUCO point guard I have seen this year, Ismail Ali, 6’1”, 175. There is too much to write about his leadership and skill level so I will use the example of his “five point play” in this game. Ish took a long pass from a rebound and headed down the floor with a 6’9” San Bernardino big waiting for him at the basket. Ali “made some moves”  to score as he was thrown down on the floor. The Saddleback big was so frustrated that his conversation with the referee caused a technical foul. Ali made three free throws and zap, 5 points and the ball back. Ismail lead the team with 19 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, and 4 assists. And that only tells half of it.

How did Ali escape from the north?
