Utah State went out to the West Coast to face UC Santa Barbara on Saturday and came away with a 71-64 victory over the Gauchos. Spencer Butterfield led with 16 points (4-6 from long distance) plus seven rebounds for the Aggies.
Mike Bryson paced Coach Bob Williams' club with 15 points. John Green didn't play because of a left foot injury that has him listed as out for 3-6 weeks.
