Here's Washington Coach Lorenzo Romar on the status of Desmond Simmons: "Romar expects Desmond Simmons, who hasn’t played due to arthroscopic knee surgery, will be able to return after Christmas. Simmons is running up and down the court, but he hasn’t done any lateral work yet."
