Note from Lakeshow Coach Fuca on his 2014 talents

This is part of a report Lakeshow Coach Joe Fuca sends out to college recruiters:

2014 Class

* Spencer Rust  - 6-foot-9 center for Monte Vista High School - two current offers from Columbia University and Brown University in the Ivy League. MV is ranked fourth in the state in Division 1 with a 11-0 record. Spencer is fresh off a tourney championship at Modesto Christian where he earned MVP honors. Also voted all-tourney in Russ Peterich Tip-Off Classic.

* Grant Jackson - 6-foot-2 point guard for Monte Vista high School - voted all-tourney in Modesto Christian Tournament, MVP of the Russ Peterich Tip-Off Classic, and player of the game in Nor Cal Tipoff. 

* David Gunn - 6-foot-8 wing for San Ramon Valley High School - team is 11-1 in pre-season, David is committed to Westmont College - Division 1 NAIA team in Santa Barbara, voted MVP of the Riordan Classic, and John May Tourney, and all-tourney at St Francis Tournament. Averaging 13 points and 11 rebounds per game.

* Kamar Reese - 6-foot-2 combo guard from Dougherty Valley - 9-3 in pre-season - MVP of the Ukiah tourney for the second consecutive year, all-tourney at John May and Tim Cole tourneys. Scored more than 20 points in 8 of 12 games. Scored 31 points against Arroyo.

* Caleb Baskett - 6-foot-2 point guard from Washington High School - 9-4 pre-season record - MVP of the Windsor tourney, all-tourney in Rob Vares and Pleasant Valley tourneys. Averaging 20 points per game. Voted East Bay Player of the Week twice.

* Ryan Imhoff - 6-foot-5 two guard from Napa High School - MVP of Wine Valley Tournament off to a 9-5 start. Ryan averages 20 points per game

* Jerry Karczewski - 5-foot-11 point guard from San Ramon Valley (11-1) - all-tourney in Riordan Classic. Game winner from three vs Castro Valley for the win at Newark Memorial. Averages 4 three pointers per game. Also committed to Westmont College. 

* Mason Washington - 6-foot-0 point guard from Modesto Christian High - tough start to the season against some really good competition - averages 15 pts per game

* Devin Bracy - 6-foot-0 point guard from Vallejo High - all-tourney at the Vacaville and Bulldog tourneys. Had a great senior year at football with two offers as a defensive back.

* Buster Souza - 6-foot-7 from Acalanes High - all-tourney at the Island Classic, scored 23 points against San Marin in a nice home win. Averaging a double/double in pre-season games

* Sebastion Flores - 6-foot-2 combo guard from Bishop Odowd - awaiting eligibility from NCS 

* Jordan Hickman - 6-foot-6 wing from St Patrick's - 9-1 start to their season - Scored 15 points and had 6 rebounds in the championship game of the Santa Cruz tourney.

* Nathan Krill - 6-foot-7 post from Justin Sienna -  MVP of the Winter Wolf Classic at American Canyon High. Nathan is averaging a double-double in virtually every game with 12 rebounds and 17 points average. In three games in the Davis Tournament December 26-28, he scored 50 points and had 45 rebounds.
