San Diego State just never let Utah State into the game last night, winning 60-45 down on the border. This in a game where Xavier Thames shot 1-9 although he was credited with five assists, five rebounds and a pair of steals.
The Aggies shot 34%, a remarkably low figure for Utah State's intricate offense, one that generally provides a bevy of solid open looks. Spencer Butterfield finished with 10 points plus five rebounds.
