Santa Clara over Pacific
Pacific was handled by Santa Clara 81-64 Thursday as part of the West Coast Conference opening round. For the Broncos, Jerry Brown contributed 12 points plus eight boards while backcourter Sama Taku paced the Tigers with 16 points. Teammate Tony Gill added 10 points plus five boards.
