Out of Reno, 6-foot-4 Caleb Wood played at Monterey Peninsula College during the 2013-14 season. He averaged 11.0 points, 2.4 boards and 1.2 assists. Now he is playing at Lassen College and averaging 20 points per game, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 52%, 40% and 92% respectively.
Wood was recently named all tournament for his play in the Mendocino Invitational event after scoring 22 against Mendocino, 32 versus Modesto and 26 in a matchup with College of the Redwoods.
He is currently receiving a lot of looks from NCAA D2 teams as well as a few low major D1 programs.
