In the Hancock College tournament, San Diego downed Yuba College 82-69 on Friday. Sophomore Vasilije (Del Campo High) Saraba led the 49ers in three categories with 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Jihad (Vanden High) Woods contributed 15 points and Manny Malou 13.
Yuba shot 49% overall but went just 1-8 on threes and 10-22 at the foul line.
