Down in La Jolla, Rakim (Eastern Washington/Central High) Brown just missed a double-double with 27 points plus nine boards and teammate Tom (Diablo Valley College/Arcata High) Witzel contributed 20 and six respectively in Humboldt State's 82-71 win over UC San Diego on Friday.
For the Tritons, freshman Chris (Campolindo High) Hansen scored 12 points with sophomore guard Grant (Monte Vista High) Jackson totaling seven points, three assists, two boards and a pair of steals.
