John Devine lauds senior Frank Rogers: "If the season ended today, Frank Rogers would have to be San Jose State’s Most Valuable Player on the basketball court.
Having missed most of last season, the 6-foot-9 Rogers leads the Spartans in nearly every statistical category, averaging a team high 13.2 points and 7.2 rebounds a game.
Rogers, who prepped at Salinas High, also leads the team in field goal percentage (51 percent) and blocks (19), and is second in steals and third in assists for San Jose State.
Rogers lead Salinas to its last league basketball title five years ago, earning league MVP honors."
