Checking in on Kyle Roach

After earning Bay Counties League – West Division MVP honors and Player of the Year in the North Bay Region for Marin Academy, 6-foot-4 Kyle Roach headed to the Evergreen State, Whitworth College in particular.

So far in his freshman season, he has played in 25 games, an average of 15.3 minutes overall, and is scoring 5.8 points  a contest on 45% 33% 86% (50 free throws) shooting respectively while grabbing 2.8 rebounds each time out. His scoring game high is 18 points.

Roach is trending even better in conference play--which is what coaches want to see--with 17.2 minutes, 7.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and shooting 50%, 47% and 76% respectively. Remember, this as a freshman.
