Chico State hosted and defeated Humboldt State 82-74 on Saturday. For the Wildcats, Jalen (Castro Valley High) McFerren contributed 13 points and nine boards with teammate Robert (Granite Bay High) Duncan adding 11 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Big Isaiah (Antelope High) Ellis led in scoring with 19.
For the guys further north, Nikhil Lizotte led with 17 points.
