Frenchwood is a 6-foot-2 guard formerly of Montana State and Newark Memorial High. He is averaging 11.2 points, 5.4 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game and shooting 47%, 44% and 63% respectively. Five players on the team are scoring in double figures.

Lamar University is located in Beaumont, Texas and is a member of the Southland Conference.
