In a California Collegiate Athletic Association quarterfinal tournament matchup, host Humboldt State edged Cal State Monterey Bay 64-61 on Tuesday. Rakim (Eastern Washington) Brown was extra large in this one with 33 points and 17 rebounds and teammate Tyras (Sheldon High) Rattler scored 17 points.
For the Otters, Ryan Nitz enjoyed a 16 point, 11 rebound double-double while teammate Devin (Sierra College/Woodcreek High) Murphy tallied 11 points.
