Saturday opened with Play Hard Play Smart falling 58-55 to the Pray and Play Players at the Adidas Gauntlet in Atlanta.
Mehki (6-foot-1, Natomas High, 2017) Williams finished with 15 points plus six boards in just 19 minutes and teammate Elias (6-foot-7, Christian Brothers, 2018) King scored 12 points in 22 minutes. Jordan Brown again did not appear in the box.

Then it was the Baltimore Elite 62-58 over Play Hard Play Smart. Renathan Ona Embo paced the Sacramento-based crew with 19 points (7-11 shooting), Elias (6-foot-7, Christian Brothers, 2018) King went 6-7 in finishing with 12 points and Isaiah (6-foot-5, Grant High, 2017) Blackmon totaled 11 on 3-3 shooting from beyond the arc. Again, no Jordan Brown.
