Has Girardi been given a salary increase as a result of pulling this double duty? That's a subject not brought up yet and such an action seems only fair.
Another angle: can't imagine there truly is enough time enough available to simultaneously successfully recruit for both teams considering how much kids demand attention nowadays.
One more: will Mason Washington and others remain? The 2016-17 Pirate roster will be a fascinating reveal.

This hire makes MJC look completely inept and cheap. Girardi has consistently lost games as the womens coach and there is little to no chance he will be able to devote enough time to manage the teams practices and game plan. The local kids deserve a much better hire than this one. I would be shocked if the womens and mens teams combine to win 10 games next year.
