Vaughn to France
Former Skyline High, USF and Cal State Fullerton guard Kwame Vaughn has a new team: "ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (France-Pro A) has secured the services of Kwame Vaughn (190 cm, CS Fullerton’13) for the upcoming 2016-17 season. The 26-year-old journeyman played for two teams in 2015-16. He started off the season on the roster of the Port of Antwerp Giants (Belgium-Scooore League). He played 17 games for them during their run in the FIBA Europe Cup where he was able to record averages of 16.5 ppg and 4.5 apg. Kwame also logged 20 games in the domestic Belgian league and there he posted averages of 17.8 ppg and 2.7 apg. He was released by the team in April 2016 and Vaughn then landed a deal to play for Ironi Nahariya (Israel-Winner League), where he ended up finishing off the season. He played seven games for his new team and averaged 11.9 ppg and 1.9 apg."
