Barkley gets a television show

"Charles Barkley? He's now just the Round Mound Of Enough Already" --T.W. Williams

It's true, Charles Barkley is at his best with his hoops entertainment shtick (those commercials of him, Spike Lee and others in a car were funny) and not because of keen insights into the what and why of any happenings on the basketball court.

His multiple pronouncements on racially-related topics also do not stand scrutiny. He certainly has the right to offer his opinion, however much each might be factless based, and more power to him if someone will pay for him to do so. But let's call his new program can't-avoid-looking-at-the-scene-of-an-accident television and he better get ready to catch rightful heat when factchecking proves him wrong. Being a contrarian is fine if reality backs that point of view.
