Dons win another game

"...USF started the game with much more energy than Sunday's game in Dusseldorf and built an eight point, 20-12 lead midway through the first quarter. Sophomore Nate Renfro and freshman Jordan Ratinho both scored eight points in the first period to aid the Dons' fast start.

Ghent led just once in the game at 33-32 midway through a sloppy second period before Ronnie Boyce scored five of the Dons' last seven points of the first half helping USF to a 39-33 lead at intermission.

The Dons lead was just three at 42-39 early in the third quarter when USF went on an 8-0 run to seize control of the game. Sophomore Mladen Djordjevic capped the spurt with a long three-pointer that allowed USF to open a 50-39 lead.

USF led by as many as 19 points at 69-50 midway through the fourth quarter after junior Chase Foster connected on his first three-pointer of the evening.

Renfro finished with a game-high 15 points while Ferrari also reached double-figures with 13 to pace the Dons to their second consecutive win on their four-game European tour. Boyce added nine while Ratinho, Djordjevic and Charles Minlend finished with eight apiece...."
