"Meet the Toreros: Isaiah Pineiro" -- University of San Diego athletics
This week's installment features Isaiah Pineiro, a 6'6" forward from Auburn, Calif. Pineiro started 19 games for Portland State last season, averaging 12 points and 5.5 rebounds.
"Isaiah Pineiro is a hard blue collar guy who loves to compete and work," said head coach Lamont Smith. "Pineiro is a very mature young man who has the ability to be a tremendous leader for our basketball team. We welcome his experience to our young ball club. He's also a high character young man that will be an excellent addition to our university and community."
