On Friday up in wine country, Sonoma State turned back the challenge of St. Martin's 77-60 as sophomore guard Mason (Shasta High) Phillips led the Seawolves with 19 points. He shot 7-11, 3-5, 2-2 respectively.
For the visitors from Washington, Brandon (Drake High/College of Marin) Kenilvort scored 17 points.
