Montana hosted and beat Whitworth College 90-80 on Wednesday night. Freshman guard Sayeed (El Cerrito High) Pridgett totaled eight points on 2-2 from the floor plus 4-4 at the foul line and added six rebounds.
Sophomore Kyle (Marin Academy) Roach was second in scoring for Whitworth with 19 points on 6-10 overall shooting and 6-8 at the charity stripe. Teammate Kenny (Cardinal Newman High) Love tallied 17 points.
