Down in La Jolla on Thursday, UC San Diego topped Chico State 60-56 as sophomore Chris (Campolindo High) Hansen went for 21 points and seven boards.

Of Nor Cal note for the Wildcats, Nate (Fortuna High) Ambrosini finished with 11 points.
