Host Cal State Los Angeles defeated Cal Poly Pomona 71-59 in Los Angeles on Saturday although Jeremy (St. Mary's High) Dennis scored 20 points for CPP. He shot 7-9, 2-2 and 4-6 respectively in 26 minutes.
