Cabrillo College Men's Basketball: "The Cabrillo College Seahawks won tonight in Monterey 77-53 to improve their record to 10-6 overall and 2-0 in the Coast Conference South Division. MPC drops to 5-13 and 1-2 in Conference play.
The Seahawks got off to a slow start tonight offensively and MPC shot the ball exceedingly well from the 3pt. line connecting on 7 3pt. baskets in the first half. Cabrillo managed to take a four point lead into the locker room (33-29).
The second half was a bit different as the Seahawks held the Lobos to only two 3pt. baskets and only 7 field goals total.
Brett Reed lead all scorers with 20 points tonight. Amenofis Mitchell and Linton Acliese both added 17 a piece. Tynan Velasquez chipped in with 12 points as well..."
