"The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2016-17 Division I Men's Basketball All-America Teams on Thursday. Peru State's senior guard Rashad Brackeen (Oakland, Calif.) was among those earning honorable mention recognition...
...Brackeen had previously been named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) First Team at the end of the regular season. This allowed him to be considered for the national honor.
At the end of the entire season, Brackeen was listed in the NAIA's Top Individual Rankings: first in three-point field goals made per game (3.613), second in total three-point field goals made (112), ninth in total scoring (625), 11th in points per game (20.161), and 50th in three-point field goal percentage (0.400)..."
Brackeen is out of Franklin High.
