DRinCA and his Top 20 form NorCal junjior colleges

DRinCA, the junior college basketball coverage guru, has posted his team rankings, with some annotation:

North

1. Fresno - Absolutely loaded and they beat CCSF
2. San Francisco - Last year's state runner-up hasn't lost a step
3. Diablo Valley - All the pieces are there for a long playoff run
4. Las Positas - Wins over Cabrillo & Chabot say they're on the right track
5. Santa Rosa - McCloud was absolutely outstanding in Kris Kringle tourney
6. Chabot - Might be North's most athletic team
7. Sequoias - Solid well-coached team nearly knocked off Fresno
8. Cosumnes River - Most impressive win at Ohlone in late December
9. Yuba - Injuries have slowed them but they're still loaded
10. Ohlone - Not real consistent but can beat anyone on any given day
11. Cabrillo - Solid squad and Duran is a super-scorer
12. Merritt - Has excellent record and just missed vs. Cabrillo
13. Reedley - Could sneak in there against the top two in the CVC
14. Canada - Great record...I'll believe when they win some conference games
15. San Jose - Excellent backcourt puts them in thick of Coast-South race
16. Sacramento - Kiel Myers leads best Sac City team in several years
17. Redwoods - Tough schedule has made for ugly record but should pay dividends in conference play
18. Foothill - Been inconsistent but owns wins against MPC, DeAnza, Canyons & Cabrillo
