Sims gets to the point and Chico prospers

Chico State Sports Information Director Luke Reid writes about former Bishop O'Dowd backcourter Damario Sims switching positions as the Wildcats took down both Sonoma State and San Francisco State and  this past weekend.

Conrad-led Chico State over Humboldt

It was Jason Conrad Night when host Chico State and Humboldt State renewed their rivalry on Saturday, with the Wildcats winning 63-48.

The senior center went for 11 points and nine rebounds but it was his defensive pressure that carried the night. Damario Sims paced the Wildcats with 18 points.

Chico State romps

Host Chico State handled UC Colorado Springs 68-44 on Friday night powered by 16 points (4-6 from long distance) from Damario (McClymonds High) Sims plus 15 and nine rebounds via Amir (Franklin High) Carraway. The Wildcats shot 12-22 from three-point range.

Luke Reid offers the details of Chico State's 82-61 victory over host Cal State University Monterey Bay. Jordan Semple put up a 15/10 double-double while Damario Sims led with 16 markers. Now in a tie for first place, the Wildcats enjoy a string of four straight home contests.
