USF took down visiting St. John's 81-65 last night with De'End Parker scoring 21 points and grabbing five rebounds while Mark Tollefsen went for 11 points, three boards and a pair of blocked shots.

It was USF 79-59 over Columbia last night on The Hilltop as De'End Parker exploded for 31 points (12-18 shooting). In 18 minutes, Mark Tollefsen contributed six points on a pair of treys plus three boards for USF.

If the proverbial T's get crossed and I's dotted, USF fans will see UCLA transfer and former City College of San Francisco star De'End Parker in the uniform of the Dons next season. The timeline for his basketball eligibility is late December.

Yes, Dom O'Conner, Avery Johnson, Michael Williams and Cody Doolin all return to the backcourt of Coach Rex Walters but Parker will be on the court for 30 minutes a game.

SG De'End Parker figures to practice this week after suffering a concussion last week. He's been put through a battery of tests the past couple days after he missed nine days. Coach Ben Howland said he met team protocol and would be cleared to resume play.

When he’s hot Brown has the capability to take over a game. The 6-foot-3 Brown needs to continue to improve his rebounding and overall consistency.

De’End Parker, UCLA, G – A 6-foot-5 combo guard from City College of San Francisco, Parker originally committed to Cal before switching to UCLA. He played both guard positions in junior college, where he averaged 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as a sophomore. The departures of Tyler Honeycutt and Malcolm Lee could lead to some quick playing time for Parker.
