A James Tillman update

James (Cosumnes River College) Tillman leads Cal State Los Angeles in scoring this season with 16.4 points per game. He's shooting 51% while also nabbing 3.2 rebounds a contest. The former Pioneer High talent has obviously adapted quickly to the jump in levels.

Tillman produces but CSLA still falls

James Tillman's 23 points led Cal State Los Angeles but the Golden Eagles still fell to California Baptist 77-70 in overtime on Saturday. The former Consumnes River wing also had three blocked shots and passed for a trio of assists.

Tillman goes for 19 in loss

Cal State Los Angeles fell to host Cal State Northridge 71-62 Sunday afternoon. James Tillman, a junior out of Cosumnes River College, led CSLA with 19 points in his first game for the Golden Eagles.
