1% CLUB BASKETBALL is ready to announce its 1st Annual Christmas Basketball Camps at Napa Valley College, as well as another XMAS Camp at Holy Names University (Oakland), December 21, 22, and 23.
The camps are for grades 3rd - 9th from 9 a.m. - noon. Our J-Glove Shooting Class is for Grades 6th - 12th grade.
We wanted to do this camp so that families could have three days to finish up last minute Christmas shopping, or getting ready for hosting parties over the holidays.
Therefore, this is the perfect opportunity to provide top skill training, while eliminating the stress of having to tug your kids along for holiday shopping. Of course, our staff will provide top skill instruction, guaranteeing each kid will maximize their time and potential at the camp.
This year we have a real treat. Our directors will be Jeremy Russotti, Philippe Doherty (formerly of USF), Steiv Boyd and Dominique Bukasa (former professional player in France). We are lucky to have such positive role models directing this years camp.
Once again by popular demand, we are adding a one hour J-Glove Shooting Class after the camp, for only the first 12 players who sign up online (shooting Class is from noon - 1 p.m.).
Below are the websites on where you can sign up online for both events respectively. We are expecting a huge turn out and may have to cap the event since we cannot get anymore gym time.
Oakland area Christmas Basketball Camp
Napa area Christmas Basketball Camp
Please make sure to bring your own ball if possible and sign up early so we can prepare for our events with proper staff. Thank you and we would appreciate if you could send this to your friends who have players as well.
Happy Holidays from 1% CLUB Basketball and we thank you for your continual support in our growth.
For any questions, please contact Jeremy Russotti, (707) 849-1212, or via email at info@1percentclub.org

1% Club Basketball coming to Elk Grove and Carmichael
1% CLUB Basketball Training is coming full force into Sacramento with the addition of two new training spots - the Elk Grove area and the Carmichael area.
From Jeremy Russotti, "I am super excited that undoubtedly our strongest training staff has recently moved into the Sacramento area. Our Skills Director, Philippe Doherty, brings a ton of experience at all levels. Phil has been a successful D-I, high school, and AAU coach. Phil has also shadowed me for the past nine years, training top players and programs. He will be assisted by Dominique Bukasa and Adam Casares."
More from Russotti: "Dominique was with me when I started 1% CLUB Basketball 13 years ago. He was a huge influence on Josh Akognon and was one of the main reasons why Angelo Tsagarakis (playing in France) came to the USA and had the success that he did."
On October 14, all four trainers will be in both areas putting on a FREE CLINIC for various ages:
*** CARMICHAEL: October 14 at St. Michaels Episcopal School, for grades 3rd-9th -- please bring your own ball
3rd-5th: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Jeremy Russotti's Skill Training U Trainer Certification Program
Jeremy Russotti's Skill Training U Trainer Certification Program has announced its next big event, October 6-7 in Oakland, CA.
The event will be held at Holy Names University, for coaches, trainers, players, and dedicated parents. It is a two-day event, with 14 hours of court specific instruction.
This is Russotti's premiere event, where attendee's receive his 28+ page Syllabus with every drill for every facet of individual training that he provides in his distinguished Green Room Training Program. For those who have his four Millennium Series DVDs, only around 35% makes up his 28+ page syllabus. Therefore, the majority of his teachings (65%) is for this special exclusive event.
Russotti explained, "at first I was hesitant to run this event and share with others what I have been studying and building for the past 11 years. However, after my Vegas event, I saw how appreciative the coaches were and how we have completely changed their philosophy on how they run their practices. That far outweighed taking my curriculum to my grave."
He will also be adding former NBA player and current D-I Coach Rex Walters (University of San Francisco) for shooting instruction, and one of the top Strength and Conditioning Coaches John Murray (former Golden State Warriors Strength & Conditioning Coach).
To visit his new website with video footage and testimonials from the first Las Vegas event, please go here.
There are only 35 spots for this October program and 18+ verbal commitments have already been received. This training will no doubt sell out. However, Russotti is planning events all around the country this spring and next summer, in Memphis, Indiana, Orlando and Las Vegas.
Visit this link which will take you to the Training Certification Program schedule and PDF Flyer kit.
FOR PLAYERS: Russotti is offering four spots to high school age players (must be varsity level talent) to train and learn during the event. For players, it is basically the most elite, jam-packed basketball camp they will ever attend. To register email Jeremy ASAP for a spot -- info@skilltrainingu.com -- The cost is $400. Russotti said, "this is a great opportunity for players to learn everything they need to know about Skill Training, and as well the biomechanics for each movement. Since I do not train many high school kids personally, this is the best opportunity to get a ton of information and court time in a weekend."
At his first event in Vegas, the attendees ranged from NBA Head Coaches, Professional Overseas Coaches, SEC Assistants, National Juco, D-II Assistants, high school and AAU Coaches. It was the ultimate networking and social event as well.
For more information, contact Jeremy at (707) 849-1212, or via email info@skilltrainingu.com

A new injury prevention technology -- Jeremy Russotti and the ZZ Sports Group
Shabazz Muhammad being tested in Santa Rosa
Jeremy Russotti and his Green Room Training Program is now also working with the Zig Zieglar and the ZZ Sports Group which offers 3D motion technology that identifies the positives and negatives of any body movement.
The end result is an exercise program designed to prevent injuries, as well as dictate the appropriate training, instruction, or rehabilitation. Ziglar has tested some of the top athletes in the world today, including Shaquille O'Neil, Ryan Howard, Tiger Woods, Jennie Finch, Bruce Jenner, Anquan Boldin, etc.
The photo above is Shabazz Muhammad, the #1 recruit in the nation and a recent UCLA signee, being tested and, according to Russotti, "It gave us amazing data about his imbalances in his muscles and joints. Hopefully we can use that data to realign his muscles' flexibility and strength in order to prevent injuries. With the recent surge in ACL tears, the ZZ Sports Group feels it has a lot of the answers as to why they occur and how they can be prevented."
This Saturday, the ZZ group will be back in town testing Josh Akognon, Jackie Gamelos (Minnesota Lynx), and others.

Notes and a new product from Jeremy Russotti
Direct from Jeremy Russotti:
I have launched my new product, V-Bands, just this past week. Below is info about this new product, as well as a youtube clip of a lot of kids I train with the product (mostly Josh Akognon). Velocity Bands are the "NEW EDGE" for functional sports training. While they were first invented for basketball training, the inventor questioned whether the gains he was getting with his basketball clients (hand speed), would transfer to other sports. He was elated to find out that every sport he piloted in conjunction (volleyball, baseball, softball, football, soccer, hockey, MMA, golf,) had coaches excited about this "NEW EDGE". It seems like a simple concept, however, very few people realize how important hand speed improvement is vital to just about every sport.

Alan Stein was just out here in California. We launched an online company called that brings all of our workouts online. It is 300+workouts for both body and skill training.
and
1% CLUB athlete Colin Slater is a kid who contacted me three years ago asking me to train him. At first, I didn't take him seriously but his Dad said he has followed me online for years on youtube, has all of my training aids and DVDs and was motivated to be the best. Since I had an event in Fresno (Central Cali's Finest), I invited him up. I was instantly floored at how skilled this 10-year-old was at the side baskets. We invited him into the drill sessions and, at 10-years-old, he was no doubt one of the most skilled players in the gym. Here's the link.
Colin began to work out with us and is a major part of the HoopGainsTraining program for his age group. On film, he is amazing and is only 10-years old in the HGT program footage.
Three years later, Colin was selected by Slam Magazine as the #1 13-year- old in the USA. He is extremely humble, believes in skill training, does not play AAU travel ball and is a top student. A great story. Colin was with me as my assistant for the Dakota Wizards tryout today. Even though he doesn't play in events or showcases, he will be getting a workout in and playing in my North Bay's Finest Event.
