Jon at his Big Sky Basketball site has a Sacramento State writeup and former DLS and Diablo Valley College backcourter Jordan Estrada receives this ink/these pixels:

"...The last guy they brought in is combo guard Jordan Estrada, who played at Diablo Valley JC in Concord, CA. He averaged 13.2 PPG to go with 1.8 APG last year. He also showed a propensity to hit the deep ball, making 40% last year. He will be in the rotation for minutes at the guard spots, though he doesn't look to me to be a starter"

"...[Jordan] Estrada, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound combo guard from Concord, Calif., played two years at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Calif. Last season, he was a first team all-Big 8 Conference selection after helping lead the Vikings to a 26-5 overall record, a league championship and a Northern California Regional semifinal appearance. He played in all 31 games while averaging 13.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 39.5 percent (132-334) from the field and 40.6 percent (101-249) from the three-point line. He averaged 3.3 three-pointers made per game, including at least one in every contest during the season. Over the last six games of the season, he shot 65.9 percent (27-41) from the three-point line, including 73.7 percent (14-19) during the Vikings’ three regional games. Estrada’s scoring average was the second best mark on the team and he scored in double figures 23 times.

As a freshman in  2009-10, he helped DVC to a 17-12 overall record after averaging 8.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.9 steals per game. He shot 35.9 percent (37-103) from the three-point line and scored in double figures in six of the 19 games he appeared. That included a career-high 31-point effort against Ohlone College where he buried eight three-pointers and hit the game-winning shot.

Estrada prepped at Concord’s De La Salle High School where he was a three-year member of the varsity squad. The Spartans won the league championship all three years of his varsity tenure, including a state ranking as high as 12th during his junior season. He helped De La Salle to a three-year combined record of 82-9 overall and 43-1 in league games.

“Jordan is an excellent three-pointer shooter with very good range,” Katz said. “He comes from a winning tradition at both De La Salle High School and Diablo Valley College. He was a team captain at both schools, and has a great pedigree in terms of leadership."
