Sankey keeps at it
Khion (Newark Memorial High) Sankey totaled eight points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals in Lipscomb University's 79-72 win over Kennesaw State last night.

Lipscomb wins
Lipscomb University finally got back home to Nashville and the familiar surroundings aided in a 60-56 victory over East Tennessee State. Khion (Newark Memorial High) Sankey stuffed the stat sheet yet once again for the victorious Bisons as the backcourter posted a line of nine rebounds, eight points plus a pair of assists.

Sankey does it again
Host Jacksonville turned back Lipscomb University 85-71 last night despite a stat-stuffing effort by Khion Sankey. The junior out of Newark Memorial High didn't shoot all that well in totaling four points but he did grab 10 rebounds (five at the offensive end, five at the defensive end), passed for three assists and nabbed two steals.

Sankey stays productive
Lipscomb University fell 84-70 yesterday to North Florida but not before Khion Sankey produced 14 points (5-5 shooting).

Lipscomb and Sankey win again
Lipscomb University took the last train to Clarksville and then beat host Austin Peay 87-84. As usual, Khion Sankey stuffed the stat sheet with 13 points, seven assists and five rebounds in 34 minutes.

Lipscomb falls to KY
Lipscomb University ventured into Rupp Arena on Saturday and an 88-50 loss to Kentucky ensued. As for Khion Sankey, he scored six points (3-6 shooting), nabbed three boards and passed for a pair of assists.

Khion Sankey just nabbed Atlantic Sun Conference Newcomer of the Week honors.
How he ever escaped California and then wasn't brought back to the Golden State is puzzling. Just the toughness he brings is alone scholarship worthy.

Host Lipscomb battled but Murray State was just too much to the tune of 88-79 last night. But former Newark Memorial High talent Khion Sankey enjoyed another stats stuffing night with 12 rebounds, eight points and six assists for Lipscomb.

It's just into the season but to date Khion (Newark Memorial) Sankey is averaging 26 minutes a game (three starts) and 6.0 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per contest for Lipscomb University, a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Sankey does it again
Lipscomb University nabbed another victory, a 66-62 victory over host Gardner Webb. Khion (Newark Memorial High) Sankey enjoyed another multi-dimensional game with seven points, 10 rebounds plus three assists -- all in 20 minutes of court time as a starter.

Lipscomb University had no trouble with Maryville last night, downing the visitors 73-55. Khion (Newark Memorial High) Sankey started again at guard, going scoreless (he didn't attempt a shot) but grabbed 12 boards and passed out three assists in 28 minutes.

Lipscomb University lost 89-60 to Belmont last night but junior Khion (Newark Memorial High) Sankey repped northern California well. The stat sheet filler Sankey started and played 31 minutes, totaling 11 points, seven boards and four assists.

Remember Khion Sankey?
Khion Sankey was the man in the middle for Newark Memorial High a couple of seasons back. At 6-foot-4, he was a won't-back-down-to-anyone beast in the paint. Sankey then moved on to Sheridan Community College in Wyoming, expanded his skills set and now has a scholarship at Lipscomb University, a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. It's located in Nashville, Tennessee.

A Khion Sankey update
Khion Sankey was the muscle inside for Newark Memorial High a couple of seasons back. He is averaging 6.8 points (on 51% shooting), five rebounds and 2.7 assists a game as a sophomore for Sheridan College in Wyoming.
