San Marin High basketball standout Stuart Wesonga has verbally committed to accept an athletic scholarship from Cal State Northridge. He plans to sign a letter of intent to play for the Matadors on Nov. 10.
What won me over was how honest and caring everyone on the staff is," said Wesonga, who is preparing for his senior season at San Marin and would begin attending classes at Northridge in the fall of 2011. "Coach (Bobby) Braswell is a teacher first and foremost and that means he really cares. I could tell that right away."
