Fox continues to roll

Host UC Riverside toppled Whitman College 89-76 last night with freshman Josh Fox continuing his strong start with 18 points and four boards in 24 minutes of play in the starting lineup.

Lucas Devenney grabbed 15 rebounds in 32 minutes as the starting center while frosh Tajai Johnson scored nine points in 15 minutes of court time.

Vallejo High backcourter Tajai Johnson recently took a visit to UC Davis, checking out the program and new staff there.

This is a description after Johnson took part in one of Jeremy Russotti's events: "Tajai was one of he smoothest players at the event. Tajai can really put the ball on the floor and attack the basket. Once in the key, his greatest attributes is his strength and ability to use angles to get to the rim or foul line. Must develop consistency on his shot to play at the upper next level, however, he will no doubt be a top player in the 2012 class."
