It's not news anymore but Fresno area big Robert Upshaw, after committing to Kansas State but then having that coach move on to South Carolina, decided to stay local, going with Fresno State.

Upshaw's commit may possibly effect Tanner Giddings, another high school big out of Windsor High who is headed to the Bulldogs and also Jerry Brown, a junior-to-be at FSU who did a very good job holding down the paint this past season but deserves a chance to play at his natural position.

Giddings just may have the option now to redshirt and Brown can swing between small and power forward but a quality 10-15 minute per game backup for Upshaw in the 2012-2013 season needs to emerge or still be signed.
