Tree Thomas lighting it up

Tree Thomas is making noise in Malta:

"Phillip Thomas 6'8" F (Portland St) has earned the Eurobasket.com Player of the Week Honors for his performance this past weekend in Malta. Thomas help lead his Floriana club past Depiro 88-79 putting Floriana at 1-1 while dropping Depiro 0-2 early on in the season. Thomas finished the game with 31pts, 19rebs, 2stls, 1blk in the win. Thomas is considered one of the top imports in Malta behind Shawn Morgan and Stephen Shackleford but with this performance and the win he is closing the gap."

Tree is out of San Leandro High and played for Coach Todd Peterson. Besides basketball, he also played a football season as a tight end/defensive end for Portland State.
