Contra Costa College Men's Basketball: "The Comets opened their season on a positive note, downing Siskiyous College 71-58 in the 1st round of the Las Positas College Tournament. After a slow 1st half, the Comets turned the tempo up in their favor and ran away in the 2nd half. F Curtis Harris led the Comets with 10 points and 15 rebounds, while G Bernard Ward added 14 points and 4 rebounds off the bench. G Jalen Walton added 10. The Comets play tomorrow at 5 PM vs Las Positas College in the 2nd round of the tournament... GO COMETS!!!"
