Tournament host San Jose City College started strong with a 94-66 takedown of Porterville College on Thursday. The score was 46-26 at the half. Jonell Burton led the Jaguars with 24 points (10-14 overall shooting), Jonah (Willow Glen High) Underwood just missed a double-double with 17 points and nine boards and Kameron (Brookside Christian) Vales also tallied 17 alongside a team-best five assists. SJCC went 17-17 at the foul line.
