Pacific got by host Pepperdine 89-84 on Friday as Ray (Modesto Christian) Bowles scored 26 points and dished out seven assists while teammate Anthony (Modesto Christian) Townes contributed 19 points plus eight boards. The Tigers now move on to the second round of the West Coast Conference tournament.
