UC San Diego won both 20 minute sessions and defeated Chico State 65-53 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association semi-final game on Friday. Sophomore Chris (Miramonte High) Hansen led the victorious Tritons with 20 points and 11 boards as well as a pair of blocked shots.
For the Wildcats, Isaiah (Antelope High) Ellis led with both 21 points and eight rebounds. Teammate Robert (Granite Bay High) Duncan scored 11 points and pulled down seven boards.
