On Saturday in the Southland, Long Beach State bested Hawaii 84-75 as Temidayo (St. Joseph Notre Dame) Yussef led the 49ers with 23 points and Noah (Woodcreek High) Blackwell was next with 17. Yussef shot 9-9 from the floor while Blackwell went 5-9 from three-point range.
Noah (Palma High/UCLA) Allen led the islanders with 21 points.
